Privacy policy
The short version: no accounts, no ads, no data sold. Analytics are anonymous and EU-hosted, and what you type into the calculators stays in your browser.
Who we are
Fiatmap (fiatmap.com) is operated by TORSTONE OÜ, registered in Estonia, which is the data controller for this site. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
The site has no user accounts, no sign-up and no ads. Two things touch data at all: anonymous usage analytics (PostHog, hosted in the EU) that record page views and clicks without building profiles of anonymous visitors — used solely to understand which pages help people; and standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) kept by our hosting infrastructure for security and debugging, and rotated automatically.
What we deliberately do not collect
Amounts you type into the calculators (loan sizes, salaries) are processed in your browser and are not sent to our analytics. We do not use advertising trackers, do not sell or share data with third parties for marketing, and do not run cross-site tracking of any kind.
Cookies
Fiatmap sets no advertising or cross-site cookies. Analytics, when enabled, uses minimal first-party storage to tell repeat visits apart; nothing follows you to other sites.
Emails you send us
If you write to [email protected] — for example to report a data error — we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to resolve the issue, and use it for nothing else.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Estonia: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon). In practice, the little we hold means most requests are answered with “we have nothing on you” — which is the point.
