Terms of use
The short version: Fiatmap is information, not advice; we pass official statistics on in good faith; and the data we derive ourselves is yours to reuse with attribution.
What this site is
Fiatmap (fiatmap.com) is an information service operated by TORSTONE OÜ, registered in Estonia. It republishes official statistics — interest rates, prices, taxes, wages and legal frameworks — with their sources and dates, and derives a small number of figures (such as real interest rates) from them. By using the site you accept these terms.
Information, not advice
Nothing on Fiatmap is financial, investment, tax, immigration or legal advice. A national average mortgage rate is not your offer; a statutory tax rate is not your tax return; the driving licence checker summarises treaty rules but does not replace confirmation from an embassy or road authority. Decisions with real money or legal consequences deserve a professional who knows your situation.
Accuracy and warranty
We work hard on correctness: official sources only, every value dated and sourced, gaps shown honestly rather than estimated. Still, sources revise their figures, definitions differ subtly between countries, and pipelines can lag. The site is therefore provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, and TORSTONE OÜ is not liable for losses arising from decisions based on it. If you spot an error, tell us at [email protected] — corrections go straight into the data pipeline.
Reusing our data
Figures and datasets we derive ourselves are licensed under CC BY 4.0: reuse, republish and build on them freely, with attribution to “Fiatmap” and a link back. The underlying series remain subject to their publishers’ own terms (BIS, ECB, IMF, OECD, Eurostat, World Bank and others) — the source registry lists the licence for each. Embedding our widgets on your own site is welcome and requires no permission.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others (the CSV downloads and widgets exist so you should never need to), misrepresent Fiatmap as the origin of third-party statistics, or present modified figures as ours.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the revision date below changes when we do, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Last revised: 25 July 2026.
